Creating an account#
Tenpm Uptime accounts are self-serve: you sign up with just an email address, and nothing is created until you confirm you own it.
1. Sign up#
- Go to the login page and choose Create an account.
- Enter your email address and submit.
You’ll see the same confirmation either way, whether or not that address already has an account — this is deliberate, so the page can’t be used to check who else is a Tenpm Uptime customer.
If you don’t see a Create an account link on the login page, self-serve signup has been turned off on this instance. Ask whoever administers it to add your account instead.
2. Check your email#
If the address was new, you’ll receive a verification link. Nothing about your account or organisation exists yet at this point — the link is what creates it.
The link expires after 24 hours. If it’s expired or you lost it, just submit the signup form again with the same address to get a fresh one.
3. Set a password and organisation name#
Following the link takes you to a short form:
- Password, entered twice to catch typos.
- Organisation name — defaults to your email address, but you can change it to your company or team name. This is the name your teammates will eventually see when they join.
Submitting the form creates your account and a brand-new organisation that you own, and signs you straight in — no separate login step.
What’s next#
You’ll land on the Dashboard, which is empty until you add a monitor and a check. Continue to Adding your first monitor.
